Our Story

Red Moustachio began with a single goal in mind: to create a better hot sauce. Not just hotter, but richer—rooted in culture, bursting with flavour, and made the good way.
Our journey began in the vibrant markets of Oaxaca, where the air is thick with the earthy, spicy aroma of dried chiles and the hum of community. It was here—surrounded by the colours, crafts, and culinary traditions of Mexico—that inspiration took hold.
We honour that tradition by using time-tested techniques and only the highest quality ingredients: tomatoes, tomatillos, garlic, onion, and a curated blend of dried and fresh chiles. Everything is blistered on a hot comal and ground by hand in a molcajete, just as it’s been done for generations.
Each sauce we make is an invitation—to sit, to share, to savour. Because food brings people together like nothing else. Whether it’s a casual backyard taco night or a table full of friends and laughter, we believe flavour is a form of connection.
